Upcoming Bedeque and Area Council Meeting
The next council meeting for the Rural Municipality of Bedeque and Area will be Thursday, February 4th at 7:00pm at the CDC Boardroom.
The Rural Municipality of Bedeque and Area is having a By-Election on November 2, 2020 for the position fo 2 council members for the Bedeque Ward 1 and also for the position of Mayor. These three vacancies are for a two year term.
Nomination period: Oct 7 – Oct 16 at 2:00pm. Nominations received at: 2062 Trans Canada Highway, Route 1A, Central Bedeque, PE during office hours: Oct 6 from 1:00-4:00pm, Oct 7 from 9:00am-2:00pm, Oct 15 from 12:00-3:00pm and Oct 16 from 9:00am-2:00pm. Nominations Close at 2:00pm on Oct 16th.

The Rural Municipality of Bedeque and Area will have a Pre-Budget meeting on Thursday, March 5th. Following the pre-budget meeting, there will be an official presentation of budget held at an open meeting on Thursday, March 19th at 7:00pm in the CDC Boardroom as is mandatory by the Municipal Government Act.
The Rural Municipality of Bedeque and Area will be having a pre-budget meeting on Thursday, March 5th at 7:00pm in the CDC Boardroom. This will be an open meeting and all resident of the municipality are invited to attend. The budget for 2020/ 2021 will be discussed. We encourage your input and value your attendance at this meeting. In addition to discussing the budget, the council will also be addressing a variety of issues regarding the municipality.
